After 11 years of staying at home and homeschooling my children, I came back to CCS four years ago and am as excited as ever to be a part of CCS! I was here from the beginning of CCS when it was at Raleigh Road Baptist Church and moved here to this building when it was built. I taught here for 7 years before staying home to raise my children. Now, I am the Middle School Science teacher and Middle School Director. I have told people over and over that YOU are what we prayed for in the beginning...for growth, for uncompromising education, for a family atmosphere, for community involvement and above all else to keep Christ at the center of it all. WOW! God is faithful and hears our prayers. I cannot wait to see all that He has in store for us here at CCS in the years to come!
I graduated from Appalachian State University with a BS in Speech and Language Therapy and K-12 Education. I have always dreamed of being a teacher as a little girl and I tell my students all the time that dreams do come true! I am married to my high school sweetheart, Jason, and we have 3 children, Landon (18 yrs., now a GRADUATE of CCS!!), Gracie (15 yrs.) and Jack (13 yrs.). Gracie is in the 10th grade and Jack in the 8th at CCS. I am blessed beyond measure!
Again, I am excited to be a part of the lives that God has entrusted me with here at CCS teaching about Him throughout our daily lessons in Science. His creation is amazing and learning about it through Science is my heart's desire for each Middle Schooler here. These are the good ole days!
