Hello, I am excited to be a part of the CCS family as the High School Yearbook adviser and Elementary School Counselor. I have been at CCS since the Fall of 2017. I am originally from Radford, VA but have lived in Wilson for over 17 years now. I am married to my best friend, Joe, and we have 2 beautiful daughters, Kara and Kelsie. Our oldest daughter, Kara, graduated from CCS in 2019 and our youngest daughter, Kelsie, graduated from CCS in 2021. Joe and I were in youth ministry for over 22 years and have a passion and love for students. In my spare time I enjoy photography, crafting, and spending time with my family.
Professional Experience
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Communicative Disorders from the University of Alabama and I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Psychology from Fayetteville State University. I have been serving as both the high school yearbook advisor and the elementary school counselor at CCS for the past two years. As I start my third year in these roles, I am excited and honored to once again have the opportunity to create a yearbook with our CCS students that captures memories and reflects the CCS culture. I am also dedicated to being a resource for our elementary students, helping them succeed academically, personally, and spiritually. If you ever have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out to me. I look forward to getting to know you and your student(s) better this year.
