I Grew up in the small southern town of Farmville, NC.  In high school, I served as an after school tutor to elementary age children and taught baton/dance classes in the summers.  I knew at an early age I wanted to be a teacher.  After graduating from high school, I attended East Carolina University and have been teaching at CCS for nine years. I have served as a K4 assistant, K4 teacher and K5 teacher.

 

I'm happily married to my husband Tim and have two boys.  Matthew, 24 years old and Jonathan, 17 years old.  Matthew attended the first kindergarten class at CCS.  He remained at CCS throughout his school years and graduated in 2013.   Jonathan has been at CCS since K4 and is currently in the 11th grade.   I feel extremely blessed to have the opportunity to work at a Christian school and share the love of Jesus to children everyday as I incorporate him into our daily lessons!
