Greetings! My name is Matthew Manning and I am currently serving in my 7th year as a teacher at CCS. I have throughly enjoyed watching our students grown and mature.

A little bit about me: I have been married to my wife Felicia for 22 years and we have two wonderful children. Both of them graduated from CCS. Dylan will be getting married in December, 2021 and Kaitlyn is currently in her freshman year at Lee University in Cleveland, TN studying to be a nurse. I have a BS in Business Administration from Lee University, a MA in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and I am currently working toward my EDD in Community Care and Counseling from Liberty University.

I also pastor a church in Rocky Mount.

As this new year starts I am so excited to see what God has in store for CCS and our families.

Other: Blessings! My name is Matthew Manning and I currently serve as the Middle School Bible teacher here at CCS. My journey as a Cyclone began in November of 2014. During my time here I have taught High School Bible as well as business and computer classes. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching our students grow and mature. A little bit about me: I have been married to my wife Felicia for 24 years and we have two wonderful children, Dylan, 21, and Kaitlyn, 19. Both of them graduated from CCS. I have a BS in Business Administration from Lee University and an MA in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and I am currently working toward my MA, Divinity-Leadership from Liberty University. I also pastor a church in Rocky Mount. Over the past two years, I have encountered the greatest challenge of my life. In January 2022 I was diagnosed with stage 3 rectal cancer. I received radiation and chemotherapy before having surgery in October 2022. Although it has been a tough journey, the Lord has been by my side the entire time. I have felt His peace and comfort more and more each day. John 14:27 says, "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you." I am so thankful for the peace of God in my life.
