Hello! My name is Kelley Godwin. I am married to my husband, Chris, and we have two beautiful children, Brysen and Bristol, both who attend Community Christian School. We live in the small town of Nahunta, which is located in northwestern Wayne County. We have two cats, Alley and Milo, an AKC registered black lab, Chloe Grace, and 13 chickens. We hope to one day add more animals, like goats and cows, to our farmland. We currently attend Victory Church-Raleigh, where my husband and I serve faithfully in the music ministry and usher ministry. My family means so much to me and we are very close. By the end of the year, my students will be familiar with their names! 😊

I earned a bachelor's degree in early childhood education from the University of Mount Olive, as well as my North Carolina teaching license in Birth-Kindergarten Education. This is my 12th year teaching. I have taught PreK, Kindergarten, and 3rd Grade.

I absolutely love teaching Kindergarten! My mission is to instill a love of learning so that my students develop a desire to be life long learners. This will be a wonderful year full of learning and fun, and not to mention, an incredible year of change. You will be amazed as you watch your child bloom as a friend, reader, writer, mathematician, scientist, thinker and so much more!

I can’t wait to meet you all and see what this year has in store for us! We are going to have an amazing year in Kindergarten!
