Gracie Beamon helped her Community Christian School varsity girls soccer team win three big matches last week, making her this week’s Farris & Thomas Law Student-Athlete of the Week.
Gracie scored her first career goal and passed out an assist Thursday in the Cyclones’ 9-0 victory at Bethel Assembly Christian in Windsor. She played well in the midfield in Friday’s 4-2 home win against Mid-Atlantic Christian Athletic Association rival Gramercy Christian. assist. So far this season, the Cyclones have won six of their eight games.
The daughter of Sarah and Jason Beamon of Saratoga, Gracie has a 4.143 GPA at CCS where she takes Honors courses as well as Career and College Promise dual-enrollment courses through Wilson Community College. She is a member of Community Christian’s chapters of the Beta Club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Gracie also plays volleyball for the Cyclones.
Gracie is active in Wilson County 4-H as she raises and shows pigs. She also has been nominated for Rotary Youth Leadership award and is active at Cornerstone Free Will Baptist Church in Farmville.
Gracie also plays volleyball for Eastern Elite in Goldsboro.
