KINSTON — The Community Christian School boys basketball team used a strong showing on the offensive end to record a 77-61 win over Bethel Christian Academy on Friday night.
The Cyclones extended their winning streak to 11 games to improve to 12-1 on the season heading into a home game against Hobgood Charter on Thursday, Jan. 18.
Tavares Williams led four CCS players to finish in double figures with 18 points and eight rebounds, as Chason Bryant chipped in 15 points and five boards.
Following with 14 points, five assists and a pair of steals was Evan Gattis, while Jared Kovach also scored 14 points and came away with three steals.
Jack Beamon finished just shy of double digits with eight points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
