AHOSKIE — The Community Christian School girls basketball team recorded a narrow 20-18 road win over Ahoskie Christian on Tuesday.

With the win, the Cyclones are now 7-3 on the season and 3-1 in conference action.

A low-scoring first half saw the teams knotted at 6-all, before the visiting side held a two-point edge in the second half to secure the win.

Ava Dunn and Libby Bass finished tied for a team-high in points with five for the Cyclones, as both added a pair of rebounds, while Dunn also finished with five steals.

Community Christian School is now off for a month before returning to play on Jan. 12, when it visits Bethel Christian.
