Community Christian School volleyball suffered a straight set loss to visiting Covenant School on Thursday at the Peace Church gym, falling 25-22, 25-15, 25-23.

Taylor Ricks led the way at the net with five kills and a block, while Olivia Carter added three kills for the Cyclones, who dropped to 6-7 with the loss.

At the service line, Claire Carter had a team-leading 10 service points and an ace to go along with three kills, while Gracie Beamon and Libby Bass each added five service points apiece.

Community Christian returns to action on the road against Faith of Goldsboro Tuesday, Oct. 3.
