A four-match losing streak ended for the Community Christian varsity volleyball team with a three-set sweep of visiting Gramercy Christian (3-8) on Friday.
Gracie Beamon served nine aces as part of her 20 points at the line for CCS, which rose to 4-6 with the win. Beamon also added four kills. Senior Faith Jones served six aces in her eight points to go with two kills while Katie Mangum had four kills and Olivia Carter had three kills. Senior Taylor Ricks produced five points, three kills and a block while Autumn Bradshaw delivered 15 assists.
Community Christian will play at Northeast Academy in Lasker on Monday.
