Community Christian won its third varsity volleyball match in a row with a five-set conquest of visiting Faith Christian on Goldsboro on Tuesday at the Peace Church gym.
The Cyclones, now 6-6 overall, evened their record in Mid-Atlantic Christian School Association 2-A North play at 2-2 with the 25-20, 25-27, 26-24, 15-25, 15-7 triumph.
Senior Taylor Ricks slammed 11 kills to pace CCS at the net while Gracie Beamon had six kills to go with nine service points, including three aces. Autumn Bradshaw delivered 21 assists to go with five kills while Claire Carter served three aces among her 19 service points to go with four kills. Olivia Carter added four kills while Faith Jones had three aces in 10 service points and three kills. Katie Mangum contributed three kills, two assists, two service points and a block.
The Cyclones host MACAA 2-A North leader Christ Covenant on Thursday at Peace Church.
