Community Christian School defended its home court with a 25-23, 25-23 win over visiting Covenant School Thursday.

Julianne Batten led the team with five aces and a pair of service points, as Claire Boswell chipped in two aces and four service points.

Playing a role at the net and on the service line was Madison Campistrous with three kills and two aces.

The Cyclones remain at home Monday, Sept. 25, to take on DASH.
