The Community Christian School volleyball team dropped its first Mid-Atlantic Christian Athletic Association North Region game to visiting New Bern Christian on Thursday. The Cyclones (2-2, 0-1 North Region) won the first set, 25-21, but the Mustangs (1-2, 1-0) took the next three sets, 26-24, 25-18 and 28-26.

Claire Carter and Taylor Ricks led the Cyclones with nine kills apiece. Autumn Bradshaw posted a team-high 23 assists and Faith Jones landed four aces. 

The Cyclones will host Trinity Christian on Tuesday.
