Community Christian claimed its first triumph in its boys soccer season with a 4-1 home conquest of Greenville Christian on Tuesday.

Eli Nichols scored twice for the Cyclones (1-1) while Ashton Bradshaw and Asher Murphy each scored a goal. Ayden Cox dealt a pair of assists and Brayden Burnette had one helper. Josh Varnell came up with seven saves in goal and Ethan Barnes was commended for his defensive play.

The Cyclones will visit American Leadership Academy Johnston County on Monday, Aug. 28.
