Community Christian kicked off its varsity boys soccer season Tuesday, Aug. 22, with a 3-0 defeat of visiting Greenville Christian.

Hector Guzman was busy for the Cyclones, scoring a pair of goals and doling out an assist while Abner Martinez-Serrano netted the other goal for CCS. Connor Ferguson led the defensive effort for Community Christian while Carlos Ventura made eight saves in goal.

The Cyclones next kick off Mid-Atlantic Christian Athletic Association play Thursday, Aug. 24, at home against New Bern Christian.
