The Community Christian School girls soccer team saw its six-game unbeaten streak to start the season come to an end Friday, as the Cyclones fell 3-0 at Faith Christian.
The Cyclones, who dropped to 5-1-1, only tallied six shots on goal, with the Patriots (3-5) connecting on three of their eight shots. Claire Carter made five saves in goal.
“A game like this is very frustrating because we controlled the ball 75% of the game, but we just could not connect our passes to make runs on the goal,” emailed CCS head coach Carl Bradshaw.
“A nonconference game like this is important to play as we have three conference games next week,” Bradshaw noted.
