Eight different players scored a goal for Community Christian, which stayed unbeaten through six varsity girls soccer matches with a 9-0 home win against Victory Christian on Tuesday evening.
The Mid-Atlantic Christian Athletic Association win left the Cyclones 2-0 in the fledgling state association and 5-0-1 overall.
“I was very pleased with our play tonight and I was excited that everyone got to play in the game and log many minutes,” said CCS head coach Carl Bradshaw. “The team played very unselfishly and got everyone involved in every aspect of the game.”
Ava Dunn led CCS with two goals while Abigail Jackson, Olivia Carter, Tate Misback, Aspen Evans, Barrett Godwin, Abril Ventura and Taylor Ricks each scored a goal. Evans also distributed three assists while Carter and Ventura doled out two each.
