The Community Christian girls soccer team got help from many different players in Monday’s 6-0 defeat of Christ Covenant in the home opener for the Cyclones.
Six different players scored a goal for CCS, starting with Ava Dunn and Ellie Gay to give the Cyclones a 2-0 lead at halftime. Aspen Evans assisted on both goals. Evans found the net in the second half along with Tate Misback, Lauren Carter and Barrett Godwin while Dunn, Gay and Cheyenne Burnette produced assists.
Payton Bush and Anna Pierce each collected a save as they combined in goal for the shutout while Gracyn Thompson and Leah Jones were commended their hustle.
