GREENVILLE — Community Christian applied the pressure and host Trinity Christian wilted in Friday’s 26-16 girls basketball win for the Cyclones.
“Tonight was a complete team effort,” said CCS head coach Carl Bradshaw. “The girls’ defensive pressure throughout the game and rebounding in the second half was the key for our victory.” Autumn Bradshaw matched Trinity’s scoring output herself with 16 points to go with five steals while Aspen Evans hauled in nine rebounds. Tate Misback added four points and two steals as the Cyclones climbed to 6-5 overall and 5-1 in their Mid-Atlantic Christian Athletic Association.
CCS will head to Kinston on Monday to take on Bethel Christian.
