AHOSKIE — Evan Gattis again had the hot hand for his Community Christian School boys basketball team Friday, leading the unbeaten Cyclones past host Ridgecroft 54-32.

Gattis fired in 24 points to go with five rebounds and three steals while Jack Beamon produced a double-double of 12 points and 12 rebounds for CCS (7-0). Anderson Joyner totaled eight points, three rebounds and two steals while Jamir Loftin contributed six points, six rebounds, six steals and five assists.

The Cyclones will host Pungo Christian on Tuesday.
