With a host of contributors, the Community Christian boys basketball team smothered visiting Pitt County Pacers home school team 74-50 on Friday at ENCSD’s Barney Williamson Gymnasium.

Evan Gattis led the Cyclones with 27 points to go with three steals, two assists and two rebounds while Jamir Loftin tallied 19 points, six rebounds, three assists and a steal. Jack Beamon produced a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds while Anderson Joyner posted eight points, eight assists, two steals and two rebounds.

Colton McFarland chipped in six points while Ethan Arizpe added six rebounds, five steals and two assists.

The Cyclones return to Peace Church gym Tuesday when they host Mid-Atlantic Christian Athletic Association rival Faith Christian of Goldsboro at 5 p.m.
