KINSTON — The Community Christian School boys basketball team needed extra basketball to do it, but came up with a thrilling road win over Bethel Christian Thursday, surviving 36-30 in overtime. 

Pierce Stone led the Cyclones with 16 points, eight rebounds and four steals, followed by Kayne Mason with 12 points, a rebound and two steals. Garrett Boswell had a four points on the night, including a game-changing 3-pointer in overtime, to go with four rebounds and two steals. Caleb Taylor added two points, a team-leading 12 rebounds and four steals and four blocks.
